And they fucking rule!! Still haven't found a guitar player. We needs to make this band happen. I should have a sample of our vocalist if that helps.

The original VIHC forum business cards set out a pretty clear statement about Emmure...

Re: Hardcore/Heavy/Punk/Deathcore.
I play bass. we are looking for a guitar player. we usually jam at pro jam. Drummer is Dax (Northern) Im Mike Jones (VonBones) And Tanya Jones (VonBones). I dropped playing guitar basically and going back to bass. Tanya and I wanted to start something heavier. No songs yet, just starting from scratch. Drop D, C, A ... doesnt really matter. We want to be heavy, fast. Full of Breakdowns ETC.

Re: Hardcore/Heavy/Punk/Deathcore.
no dude its not really, I'd been looking for a guitar player for my drum machine grind band for ages. there arn't that many guitar player available, especially ones that are down with the music you like. Your best bet would be live vic or put up flyers at long and mcquade.BOTB wrote:If you like heavy music email me. Its surprising no one has emailed yet

Re: Hardcore/Heavy/Punk/Deathcore.
yeah, I'm out just because I probably won't be a good enough songwriter. and can't really afford to jam at pro jam and don't have a way of transporting gear on a regular basis at a jamspace where you can't keep your gear set up. and dax is an awesome musician and guy but we have jammed a couple times and I have a feeling we don't have the jam chemistry that something like this would need. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys play shows though.

Re: Hardcore/Heavy/Punk/Deathcore.
also my comment might seem negative but make no mistake I whole heartedly support you starting a band, its just that I don't think this is the right place to look for musicians.
