Jason Robertson said that this album was like being shit on by Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel at once. It's true, and it's awesome.

Compare that to the new Mastodon album of Layne Stayley and Geddy Lee shitting on me, I'll still prefer the former.

I said nothing of m83's album, I just thought that analogy sounded unpleasant.

What's the deal with that pathology band? I dl'ed it after seeing the cover, then was like "lololololol victory signs death metal bands now?".

Then I listened to it in my car and it legitimately made me think that the vocalist is trolling death metal? Is that so? It was too obnoxious even for me! And I'm generally the asshole blasting despise you from a 1400 watt system.

i guess i may not get it. they just sorta sound like the video posted above, at least to me. i'm sure they're all competent musicians, but it just gets too monotonous for me after awhile.

is there a big difference between "normal" slam metal, and wigger slam metal? don't get me wrong, i LOVE death metal but there's always been something about BROOOOTAL death metal that i can't get into.

It's kinda like that for a lot of people. I can safely say that pathology might be slam, but not wigger slam, these guys are pretty og considering they're former member of locust and cattle decapitation, and disgorge.

Whoa who from cattle decapitation or the locust is in this band?

Dude I agree on the new lows lp. Their demo killed, but the lp is a snoozer. Good overall sound, but substance wise it is lacking.
