Where is everyone?
Is everyone on this thing from Victoria and/or Nanaimo? I'm in Courtenay. Anyone know of any shows in that general region in October or November?

For the most part all of us are based in Victoria. If you know of people that book in Courtenay area i can pass it on to touring bands that come to victoria that want to do more shows on the island.

I know my band really would love to play in Nanaimo/Courtney, so if you know of any promoters, that would be rad. Plus, if you ever decide to come to Vic for a show, this is a great place to hook up a floor to crash on.

Sounds good. I'll hook up Whitey with this forum, 'cause he books shows in Courtenay and Campbell River. Also, I know a couple people on Quadra who might be interested in putting on shows as well. As for coming to Victoria, it's a great place, but I tend to get in lots of trouble every time I'm there. I used to live in Esquimalt with Mike Jak and this other dude named Chuck. It was a BAD scene. Three dirty punkers in a one bedroom apartment and only one guy with a job. It got messy really fast. It's been ten years though, maybe it's time to venture back that way.

Maybe I WILL come back to Victoria. I have family there, and I love the city. It seems plausible.
