withdrawal tour dates and nonsensical update
western friends...
it is 4am winnipeg time, and i'm trying to get the word out about our upcoming plans to all our friends. spreading the news to boys and girls.
we just finished recording our 10" split with rot in hell, to be issued by escapist records out of cleveland. cleveland is apparently home to some sort of hardcore sound in the 90's that we might be interested in but i don't know all i listen to lately is nitzer ebb and the sisters of mercy.
in any case, expect a new song up soon. you know the weird kinda spacy parts on the slow b-side of unknown misery? it sounds like that, but being played over the fast parts on side a. honestly, i have been trying to describe the record to people over and over and i just thought about that comparison now and it's perfect.
alternately, it sounds like billy duffy from the cult decided to jam with kevin sheilds of my bloody valentines, but with the rhythm section of nuclear assault.
we're about a month away from jumping into our fucked up van, escaping our fucked up lives and spreading the glory and gospel of the holy terror church.
somewhere along the way, in between systematic destruction of each others selfesteem, gas station meals and breaking down on the side of the road, we plan on playing some hardcore punk rock concert live performance events.
a couple even in your general area!

sorry for the partially robotic and less than personal nature of this, i realize that bands plugging their bullshit is really annoying on forums, but i'm bored and i get paid to post.

we generally play "glory of going down in flames" and "world of ruin". sometimes "her secret" and "to the wolves" though nowhere near as frequent.keith. wrote:im stoked on the house show. i hope you guys still play a lot of the demo tracks, as thats the only thing i have. also hoping you have that 7" for sale still by the time you reach our waters
we'll have the 7" and a new split cassette tape with a shoegaze band from california called "mellowharsher". we're gonna be contributing a live set to our side.

we got burnt out on "her secret" after having played it every show for like a year ha ha. but we haven't played it in ages so i'd like to play it again. who knows! i love house shows and i think were are more cut out for the wild basement show than say, some giant venue in toronto with the acacia strain and some other nu-metal shit in november 2009. the worst show we've ever played.

I can only imagine the crowd at that show. "Not Broootal enough!" "WHY ISN'T YOUR HAIR BLOWN OUT?!?" "Hey, shouldn't you be wearing basketball shorts?"
