i wanna investigate this 24beer for $24.99 myth...
no myth, i've seen it with my own eyes. liquor plus on douglas across the street from burnside = best liquor store in victoria. it's like $25.99 or something but it even says "just over a buck a beer" on the case and they come divided up into individual 6 packs. not the greatest beer but you could do worse (like the time I traded Willa a Nachtmystium LP for a 6 pack of bullmax... oh god...)
hey guys, I'm totally broke so I've been trying to calculate cheap drinking
including taxes...
pbr = 22.78 / 15 (but you can think of it as 17.5 beerz because of the extra .9% per can) = $1.27/beer
this stuff = 28.48 / 24, = $1.19/beer
MIGHT GET SOME HARD NUMBERS DOWN FOR OE AND FAXE NEXT IN ALCOHOL EQUIVILENCY TO COMPARE TO A STANDARD 5% CAN, STAY TUNED
okay, a can of faxe is equivilent to 2.25352113 beers (let's say 2.25) in alcohol content.
I think they're $2.44 after tax? so if we were to stack it up against the rest, it'd be $1.08 for the equivilent amount of alcohol to a 5% can of beer. so they are indeed a winner, though my estimate could be off on the price. I'm pretty sure I'm close.
and a 40 of OE is like $6.14 after tax? that's 5.31830986 (let's say 5.31) beers in alcohol content.
so stacking it against the rest, it looks like $1.16.
IS MY MATH WRONG? maybe. correct me if so. I always assumed a 40 of OE was the cheap way to go. but maybe my price estimates are wrong.
this would be more properly done if I bought one of each to get the exact amounts and never rounded until the end. but I think faxe is the winner...
of my heart.

I didn't stack colt against the rest because it's gotta be really close to the others and that shit is rank. pretty much any of my calculations are "way cheaper than a real beer" ie a standard decent looking bottle six pack. those are like $2.20 a beer or more!
