March 3rd - THE SEPARATION

Re: March 3rd - THE SEPARATION
They announced from the stage tonight that it was their last show. Unless they have a change of heart and decide to do one more show (which they totally should) they're done.

They were being tight lipped about why they were breaking up. The vibe of the show was pretty negative.dalamar501 wrote:yeah i have heard so much.... wish they would call meAndrew wrote:They announced from the stage tonight that it was their last show. Re: March 3rd - THE SEPARATION
were they all edge? i know some of them were.. i guess i haven't really read the lyrics that much either. And is that really something big enough to stop a tour.... i don't know...Andrew wrote:We were guessing that one of them might've broke edge.dalamar501 wrote:something about the integrity of the band being compromised.

Re: March 3rd - THE SEPARATION
For some bands it would be enough, but I don't know with The Separation, it's all speculation. They were an edge band.dalamar501 wrote:were they all edge? i know some of them were.. i guess i haven't really read the lyrics that much either. SO FUCKING BUMMED.
That band ruled. Shitty thing to do, too.

Thirded. Troy, get a third band ASAP. It can happen. The shit disturbing side of me says get AK47, but SixBrew or Victim's Choice would probably be more appropriate.
EDIT: Northern? I'd bet they'd do it.

xchadx wrote:Sorry to Troy//Victoria that you won't get a chance to see them, the band was fucking EXCELLENT live last night. I felt really bad for them all, the brief conversations I had they all seemed really upset about having to end the band. The drummer told me it was "his fault" and looked like he was gonna tear up when we were talking about it. I dunno, I'm sure they'll release something explaining why they had to end it. They were all super nice dudes, Ben said he'll be coming back up here in new bands sooner than later.
Okay, I REALLY wanna know what happened now. SO CURIOUS.
And I'm sure they're nice guys, and I'm sure to them it seemed like the right thing to do, but no it wasn't. When you have commitments, you follow through or at the very least give the promoters a heads up as to why they're not playing. I'm not trying to paint them with this one act, I've honestly up to now heard very very good things about these guys, but this was a shitty thing to do.

Re: March 3rd - THE SEPARATION
Yeah, it's not so much a sting because the show was going to be at the Tr0yler, but it would've been a real drag if you guys had rented a hall and then lost money because they bailed. I understand that things happen, but the principle of keeping your commitments should be there, and it just seems strange to me to come this far and they deny themselves the chance to see Vancouver Island.Hollow wrote:And I'm sure they're nice guys, and I'm sure to them it seemed like the right thing to do, but no it wasn't.
