I keep alot of my shit in a cave in the basement...instead of listing shit...here are some shitty pics with random records pulled out. Most of this shit is 70's punk, 60's garage, 80's hardcore, 70's/80's powerpop...and all the shit influenced by that crap...
Yeah i can see you not organizing yours as you have soo many records right in your place. Would be stoked to listen to anything you have. Generally from when you have posted on livevic everything you have mentioned i am already interested in or want to check out. So most likely all the other stuff would hold some interest in me.
Willa is right a lot of us on here might be in to a lot of what you have listed. Zach, Tyler, Myself, Nick

wolfgang wrote:Let's talk a little about Skrewdriver...do you discount everything the band did just because Ian Stuart kept the name after the initial breakup, and started a white power band by the same name? I think the first 3 Skrewdriver records are really decent punk records...and their album "All Skrewed Up" has two of my favorite punk songs of all time on it...plus, the first three records were released on my favorite record label of all time...Chiswick records. I don't think the output of a really good punk band should be discounted simply because the singer decided to start an entirely new band...with the same name...3 years after Skrewdriver broke up.
Now...I will even make a case for the first release by the NEW Skrewdriver. "Back With A Bang" is a fucking skinhead anthem! Great tune with sinister undertones (if you consider where the band went from there), but no racist or white power lyrics, etc. This was recorded before Stuart "came outa the closet"...and I don't feel guilty owning the record. As far as I'm concerned, this record was the end of the band...but I see no reason to stop listening to the earlier stuff...
even good skrewdriver is mediocre at best.
This is where someone who knows me pipes up and exposes me for really enjoying one life crew

I love One Life Crew. I think that the big difference between them and Skrewdriver is that OLC has never openly advocated the values of national socialism.
I would argue that good Skrewdriver is exactly that...GOOD. I think songs like "Government Action" and "I Don't Like You"(album version) stand up against some of the best songs of the fiirst and second wave of punk-rock. The band Skrewdriver that did those songs never advocated the values of national socialism...and only one member of THAT band ended up making racist music, year later.I'll admit it, Skrewdriver's "All Skrewed Up" is one of my favorite albums...and I will defend it until the end. A band I was in a while back even covered a Skrewdriver tune on one of our 7 inches...and got lotsa flack for it too.

Yes. Two reasons for me. One: I'm Jewish, and I find everything about Ian Stuart disgusting, and do not want to support anything he ever did, pre or post white power. Second: I think it sucks.
But, you have to respect the Templars for covering Skrewdriver songs with two black members. And Jewdriver makes me laugh my ass off.

wolfgang wrote:Yeah...that Skrewdriver cover I posted above is by a band I was in with a Jewish singer. He was big fan of later Skrewdriver shit.
Yeah, it's weird, one of my best friends is half Filipino/half Mexican, his girlfriend is black, and he consistantly jams late Skrewdriver. I just kinda shrug and let it go. Honetly, as much as I like that shit and wish it would all disappear, I can't control what people listen to.

I don't wish any of it would go away. Later Skrewdriver is terrible and contradictory...really bad bar-room rock by a white-power band that covers black musicians. Goes to show you how stupid and unoriginal racists are. If there are going to be racists in the world...let them have their music...at least some of them will be at home listening to bad records instead of outside beating up minorities.

I'm lazy and just moved. Everything is in boxes. I dug out a few though. look at me!
So here we got.. some record releases of go it alone, blue monday, and champion. we got some butterscotch, red white and clear stuff. Some graf orlock that they didnt even print a cover for. lots of weird random shit. i like my answer 7" with a xerox'd cover on mint green paper, tha you can barely make out. That turning point record was traded to me for my copy of slc punk i bought when i was 13. I think it was a pretty good score.
