Christy I'm from Michigan, lived in Ohio for 14 years though, I moved to Nanaimo a few months ago.Fav Bands: Gastunk, Ohlo Seco, Gism, Contropotere, Negative Approach, Electric Eels, Poison Idea, Lip Cream, Boulder, Rupture, Crass, The Stalin, Puncture,Discharge,Disclose, Systematic Death, too many to name
Bands I have been in Preparation H,Crunky Kids, I was on the L.O.P. 7" many years ago, Darkest hour (from ohio, not the one from flordia) I prefer booking shows to being in bands though because I have very little musical talent except for screaming.

No although I am going to be going to school but it looks like I will be commuting to Victoria a couple days a week to do that. I am married to a canadian that i went to high school with in the states( who is not into punk or hardcore at all pretty funny) I think I will come down for the fest although I am not really big on fests (I have been to way too many where you have to sit through tons of crappy bands to see a good one although I will admit I am jaded!) but I haven't been to a show in almost a year and it is driving me completely crazy. I have gone from going to at least 1 - 2 a week to this!

there's a good show in victoria at least once a month, the summer is the best time, tons of touring bands coming through because obviously it's kind of impossible to tour canada in the winter unless you have serious, serious balls... it's kind of a trek from nanaimo but not that bad if you wanna come check some shit out... most of it gets advertised on this board. everyone is super friendly and i'm sure you'd have no problem finding somewhere to crash just from asking on this board alone if you need one. you listen to good bands so do it. or put on shows in nanaimo and we'll come to you.

Stoked everyone is nice out here haha. Sure is a change... Yeah I play guitar, bass and can use a Louie quite nicely(cold as life joke..). Ktd will always have a place in m heart haha. I look forward to the up coming shows and definitely hardcore fest.
