Re: rifflandia
yeah ok but we're still playing Freelandia, and we're going to do an "indie rock" set, it's going to be very catchy/annoying.

Re: rifflandia
DOA rules, and is definitely NOT in the "drunken shit punk" demographic. The Dayglos are, though. Ugh. Aesop Rock is fantastic. That's about it. Two bands out of how many that I would want to see? Fuck. Rifflandia blooooows.

Then you'll go from being lonely to wishing that everybody would just fuck off because their a bunch of fucking buzzkills going on about how 'you've got a problem" and they "just want to be their to help you". You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

Re: rifflandia
Chad VanGaalen - cool
Hot Hot Heat - I'd try to ask steve bays about the old days, I have their demo tape and 7" from when they were weird synth sass jamz
Lee Ranaldo - would be AWESOME
Melissa Auf Der Maur - troy loves this bitch and won't admit it
Frog Eyes - band rules
Shout Out Out Out Out - might be fun

Also odd that almost EVERY festival this summer seems tohave her on it.
Even that Metal festival in Montreal

Rifflandia has really taken a turn for the worse since year one. How do you go from Black Mountain, Man Man and Bison to Hot Hot Heat, Jon & Roy and the Dayglos?
It's just a bummer.

Re: rifflandia
yeah no kidding. even last year was much better than this lineup. though, i love aesop rock, but i wouldn't pay $65 to see him at a festival. cahd would be cool too.
