I watched some of season 1 of Madmen, but I loose touch with tv shows because I never remember to be home for them.

Im a huge Dexter nerd, and a HUUUUUGE Crimial Minds nerd.
Watched Breaking Bad before I started Deadwood. Really good show. I like Dexter a lot too, not familiar with Criminal Minds.

Just watch Madmen online, trying to catch it on TV is a pain.

Also I watched this:

Overall it wasn't that interesting for me, as the plot wasn't anything new (Under the Hood-meets-Hush). Also they were seeming to try to grift together aspects of the Nolan films with elements of some newer Batman cartoon dreck. The animation was really really similar to the old Batman cartoon Fox used to air, but still kind of flies off in ridiculous directions. Whoever they got to do the Joker's voice SUCKED. There was a scene with CYBER NINJAS too, crossing almost over into the nowadays Saturday Morning cartoon trend that's everywhere of NINJA this and CYBER that. One thing that is cool though, NEIL PATRICK HARRIS voices Nightwing.

I thought the art in this had a slight new western anime style, which I didn't like. I thought it was ok, but nothing special. I heard they're going to do a cartoon adaption of Year One next year. Hoping they do it right, if so that'll be pretty cool.

I watch Mad Men. Excellent show. Good season opener the other night. Looks like Don Draper is gonna go on a tear this season.

Yeah it sort of did have that anime touch as well. That Year One movie could be really neat if they just relied on really simplistic animation.

Some deep voiced father like guy named John Di Maggio. Didn't feel right with the Joker.

John Di Maggio is actually a pretty well known voice actor and worked on the original Batman animated series. I think. It's been a while. But I'm pretty sure.

Dude, that was a pretty awesome/terrible time for super hero cartoons. That show is one of the more awesome parts of it.

But no, I meant the 90's Batman cartoon. I remember when it premiered. I fucking loved that show.

The Wire - best thing committed to film/video ever. I don't generally like to get into hyperboles, but with The Wire I will make an exception. I have watched it through 3 times and I am sure I will again. Some people read the Lord of the Rings books every few years, I firmly believe this show will be that for me.

I definitely back the wire. I've never had more late fees in my life than when I was on that series.

It came on channel 19 after school every day when I was a kid. I'd get home just in time for Batman, Animaniacs, and then four episodes of Saved By The Bell. Good times.
