I can't remember if you were still in diapers or not when the Mido played their first show in the burnside basement...grind/bro wrote:Fond days of yore...SewnFlesh wrote: my bands: old- Bury Whats Dead, Acting Ensign, Ungoliant, Doorway, current - Nomad
Re: Introduce yourself
Doorway was great. Love Nomad. That ramp show was epic last week. What's the deal with no more Michael? Still a band or rebirth?

Re: Introduce yourself
thats cool, i'd love to hear it too... I really enjoyed Villager's set that night as well. hopefully that house has more shows in that backyard as it certainly was a nice place to play and from what I heard the sound was pretty decent as well.keith. wrote:i think andy recorded the ramp show too

Re: Introduce yourself
yea it sounded good, except the vocals were totally shut out.
it was funny we were standing on the ramp at one point and could see the neighbours in their backyard behind the fence just sitting next to their bbq pit enjoying the tunes

Re: Introduce yourself
it was sweet during Nomad's set when Zac B. went into that tree just to the side of the backyard, and would pop out intermittently

Then you'll go from being lonely to wishing that everybody would just fuck off because their a bunch of fucking buzzkills going on about how 'you've got a problem" and they "just want to be their to help you". You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.
Re: Introduce yourself
Hey Jeff, remember this? I think this was 4-5 years ago.
Re: Introduce yourself
hey Jodi! yes I remember that.. I'm pretty sure I was drunk 90% of that entire summer. Do you remember the sparkle party in Janette's basement? I think Heirophant, Obey the Eye and AE played. good timesJODI wrote:Hey Jeff, remember this? I think this was 4-5 years ago.
PS It looks like Andrew is on bass

Re: Introduce yourself
Haha yes. I remember it. I have no recollection of the bands. Lots of bikes and beer that summer. Oof.

I see you guys posted some photos of my greatest creation, LEGO! Hopefully the Danish government does not find me posting on this board. I faked my death in 1958!
