Best show ever - post yours

i'm bored at work and seems how this board is fairly active.. post your favorite show you've ever been too.. local or not.

mine would have to be seeing Corrupted in Osaka... they played at a venue called King Cobra in downtown Osaka and for me was the fulfillment of a dream of many years. They were by far the loudest band I've ever seen and played one song.. "El mundo frio" which equated to about 60 minutes live.

A Silver Mt. Zion @ Central Bar and Grill was one of the most intense performances i have ever seen.

Death From Above 1979 was for awhile one of my favourite performances when i saw them in Nanaimo

Champion's last show at El Corazon will always be close to my favourite for personal reasons and what that band meant to me.

A Silver Mt. Zion @ Central Bar and Grill was one of the most intense performances i have ever seen.

I was at this show.. not really a fan of the Central Bar and Grill and I seem to remember the band getting pretty annoyed with an audience member which kind of took away from the overall ambiance.

Victoria. Awesome. Beautiful. Good times. The locals take us to a burrito place, and i'll be damned if we didn't eat burritos. Victoria is a cool city. We also discovered that it's quite easy to physically throw me and that sometimes dudes in Victoria, although dressed like corporate stooges, may in fact know a great deal about hardcore. What's the difference between a SHARP and a Nazi Skinhead, you ask? A few beers. Credit goes to the well dressed man in the burrito shop for that, and to the burrito shop itself for putting broccoli on their burritos. Okay. The show is at a sweet Anarcho-Radical bookstore across from an apartment building filled with loud, drunk 20-something bojos. Approximately 50 kids in attendance. Approximately 50 awesome, down for the core, enthusiastic kids. Sweet place, nice people. Thanks to Troy for the hookups. We play, kids are way into it. Really, an awesome show. next time you're in Victoria, keep an eye out for MINDSET gear. Mike got asked to hang with a reputed attractive girl, but was immediately cock-blocked by the edge when she asked him to go get high with her. Note: Canadians love reefer.

when was that Mindset show?


mine was seeing the S.T.R.E.E.T.S. reunion in tacoma (with Bison, Pride Tiger and Children). i took a bus for 7 hours each way by myself to see that show. had never been to tacoma but it was a memorable trip. the crowd was all vancouver people who travelled down so i saw a lot of familiar faces and friendly kids.

Mind Eraser and Pissed Jeans played the first day, which was also pretty sweet. Mind Eraser had the single most violent and terrifying (in an awesome sort of way) set/mosh pit I've ever seen. Pissed Jeans are the most awkward band ever.
