Does anyone else get their produce from here? My girlfriend has recently got us into it, all of our veggies and stuff come from there now. A pretty rad local place. Discuss!

A couple of my friends work there. They seem to like it. I'll see if I can get them to sign up and weigh in on this thread.
Re: The Root Cellar
becky and I make trips there sometimes. they have a decent selection, nice atmosphere, no huge complaints other than how far it is from me compared to local grocery stores.
I tried this program called share organics ( http://www.shareorganics.bc.ca/ ) who deal in local farm-fresh and organic food and deliver what you want in a reusable bin to your doorstep. it was pretty cool and not -that- pricey but still got a little too pricey for me in unemployment so I haven't done it in a while. they let you carry a tab though, which is kind of cool.
now I just stick with thrifty's and fairway. and I buy cheap produce that I know will last a long time or I'll use up quickly. since buying produce for one person ends up just being a race against the clock of rotting/molding.
