fuck
but very very good.
also worth mentioning:
on the soundtrack for the movie "Ive Seen it All" is sung by Thom Yorke instead of the actor in the movie and it is fucking amazing.

Dancer in the Dark is fairly soul crushing. But, despite it having a slight glimmer of hope that DITD lacked, I find The Elephant Man much sadder, it obliterates me every time. So terribly sad.
I guess you can take one off the Robocops of my list and put The Elephant Man down.

Nice list... North By Northwest is your favorite Hitchcock? Interesting, personally there are a few Hitchcock films I liked more. Namely Vertigo, The Birds, Psycho, Rope, Shadow Of A Doubt... ***note, I think North By Northwest is awesome.officespace wrote:This Will Be Ever changing for me. I like film more than music. Re: Top 10 Movies
I don't know with Hitchcock I find it really hard to choose my favorite since a lot of his films are masterpieces.
ON a side note Dave Mac do you ever go to Cinema Pacifique? I recently found out about the place. The end of Sept. they are doing a couple weeks of film from Tati. Also at the end of Sept. they are showing two of Godard's films: Alphaville and Vivre sa vie.
The end of Oct. though they are showing Breathless(Godard), Small Change(Truffaut), Le Amiche(Antonioni),Sunrise(F.W. Murnau) and Rope(Hitchcock).
Their prices are great I think it's 12.50 for a movie or 13.50 for a double bill.

it's Pacific Cinematheque and I live right by it. I go from time to time, but not as much as I should. Definitely thinking of checking out a couple of those showings you mentioned.officespace wrote:I don't know with Hitchcock I find it really hard to choose my favorite since a lot of his films are masterpieces.

This movie was great when I first saw it at VIFF but upon re watch I didn't like it as much. Also they're remaking the movie in English or somethingstumped. wrote:

P.S Brah we still have to watch The Long Goodbye sometime!

Yep, the remake is starring Miley Cyrus and the curly haired Jonas brother. McG is directing it.officespace wrote:This movie was great when I first saw it at VIFF but upon re watch I didn't like it as much. Also they're remaking the movie in English or somethingstumped. wrote:
