(still have to listen to in on the kill taker and steady diet of nothing, so i'm approaching the question knowing only what essentially half their catalouge sounds like...)

Repeater is a fave for me , partly because it's a great record and partly because I connect a lot of good memories to it.

I think In On The Killtaker, Steady Diet of Nothing and Red Medicine are their best records though.

I think Facet Squared is one of the best songs ever. :)

This is going to be tough.

Repeater is one of my favourites for sure.

The Argument is a very strong release that i also enjoy.

guess i will rank them like that black flag thread that reece did.
They are all great in certain ways but yeah here i go

1. Repeater
2. Margin Walker
3. In On the Killtaker
4. Fugazi EP
5. Red Medicine
6. The Argument
7. Steady Diet of Nothing
8. End Hits
9. Instrument

i pretty much love them all however.....fugazi is a band if i had a passport i would fly to their show

just a general statement if they get back together from their "hiatus"

Repeater is essential listening.
The Guns, Drugs and Money bootleg is actually really good.
Argument also rules.
I happen to really like the Instrument soundtrack.
13 Songs is the first album of theirs i listened to.

That is neat, what other bands does she like? My parents liked The Eagles and Dr. Hook and country-esque music, so I never got any music from them, but I had a few punks and hippies in my clan that got me into punk and rock when I was a little kid.

The stuff i found when i was 12 was like pixies, velvet underground, elliot smith, nothing too harsh.
fugazi was really the only band with a direct line to hardcore and with some research i found Minor Threat and my life was changed forever.

I have their discography, but I've only ever put solid effort into '13 Songs'. Whether it's their best or not, it's a great album.

My Mom likes/liked crunchy Lilith Fair garbage, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen. I back Springsteen.

My Dad likes/liked Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Tom Waits, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam (early stuff), Nirvana, The Kinks, Steely Dan, and a whole shitload of jazz. I got a lot of my music education from him. In fact, he bought me my first two albums. Queens A Night at the Opera when I was nine and Metallica's And Justice For All when I was thirteen.

now this seems to be talk of parents albums.

As a whole my parents mostly seem to listen to: Led Zeppelin, The Who, Boston, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, April Wine, etc
My Mom when i was younger listened to more of the beatles, kinks, etc
my dad also listens / has records for bob marley and the wailers, peter tosh, Wings

Yeah mostly classic rock that you hear all the time on classic rock stations.

My parents NEVER listen to: AC/DC, Rolling Stones, most Aerosmith.. they do listen to some, um a few others.
