I really thought it was only okay. It was pretty boring imo until the last 5 minutes, and 5 minutes of good tv does not equal an entire good show when it's an hour long program to me.

a. JAX potentially getting Abel stateside next episode

b. the mayan patchover in lodi & inevitable brouhaha between mayans VS SOA & the "brothers" MC [dont know their name, but those guys are HUGE!

c. Tara gettin knocked out by, someone, i really just cant stand her and feel she has designs on...something...

I'm curious how Abel's abduction will resolve. It seems kinda anti climactic to have him back to Jax next episode, kinda like the writers were way into what they could do around the kidnapping and then got bored with the storyline. There needs to be layers to the outcome of the season 2 bombshell ending, more than "meh, here's your kid back".

i dunno - i think right now they are expediting the process for sure, and it seems as though Jimmy wants to get abel back to the Sons ASAP.

im sure there may be a few episodes until this is resolved, but i doubt theyre gonna take up much more of the season with this as a plotline.

I would be surprised if this was resolved quickly. Cam's dead now, that's for sure, but remember that Jimmy straight up lied and told the Sons that Cam and the kid were still on the continent, when in fact they left for Ireland.

I think that this particular plot line will be resolved before the end of the season, but I think it's gonna get more tense before it gets better. If they just suddenly find the kid, I'm gonna be preeeeetty pissed off.

I have been staring at this thread wanting to read it for DAYS. I didn't have time untill this afternoon to finally catch up with the two episodes, holy fuck. I'm with you guys on the Abel coming back so easily/soon. It feels a bit lazy story wise, but Pauly I'm with you in just wanting Jax to have his kid back cause I'm a softy.

I'm interested to see if all out war does break out with SAMCRO and the Mayans or not, seems like Clay wants to avoid it at all costs, but Jax and Clay aren't really known for being patient.

Abel's wherabouts are unknown, but i'd imagine now that SOA know cameron was in belfast, they're gonna be heading over there asap - although i wish they all wouldve gone to Vancouver on a roadtrip - that woulda been badass!

i anticipate things going VERY sour between the irish and the sons, very fast.

also... i love the Grim Bastards name/patch emblem - they're aweesome and i wanna see them square off against the mayans for sure!

I'm rewatching season 1 and 2 with my girlfriend so she's caught up to enjoy the latest. And I had forgotten how big a role "The Life and Death of Samcro" played for Jax. And if this is going to come up again for him or not, I know that Clay is still pulling him into his corner but I enjoyed the angle of John Teller influencing Jax and the vision for the club.
