Possibly. Im not trying to get on his case, mind you. I happen to agree with him that it doesnt matter if people like different shit than me, and that this was a fairly ridiculous thread to start. Its more that we had an incredibly similar conversation about a week ago in which he said pretty much what you're saying, and I disagreed with him. Glad to see he agrees with me now, i just find it funny is all.

It was last week. We were sitting on the couch on the porch. We were stoned, and having a conversation about bands like Norma Jean/Alexisonfire/whatever and you kept insisting that we go up to kids who like them and tell them they have shitty taste in music "for their own good". Obviously, we were pretty high so I'm not taking it to heart. I just thought it was REALLY funny. That's all. It ended with me pointing out that some kids have legit passion for that music and you just kept repeating "BUT WHY?". This, also, was really funny.

I still can't wrap my head around anybody actually liking that sort of music. It's the Ishtar of music.

yo i liked alexisonfire before i got into hardcore.... also the bled. if i never started going to local shows i would probably be listening to these bands / be stoked on this show....

of course i don't care for it at all now....

Yeah. Ive never been a fan of any of that (i have enough questionable bands on my ipod as is) but i just feel like no one should question another persons passion.
