shameless withdrawal facebook whoring...

Post by withdrawal204 »

western friends of the adventure island.

myspace is pretty much a cesspool of scene bands, let's face it:no one goes on it. a little thing called facebook showed up and killed the beast that killed hardcore.

in between stalking your ex-girlfriends/avoiding weird co-workers, you can now add withdrawal on facebook.

it's probably the easiest, best way to keep up to date with our new releases (of which we will be detailing soon), tour dates (of which we will be detailing soon), member changes (of which we will be detailing soon) and last, but not least, read us shit talk other bands and each other.

figured i would post that here for any folks who are out of the loop. wish we were coming back sooner than we plan, victoria is certainly one of our favorite places to play and we'll continue to keep on floating over as long as you will keep on having us.

that's pretty much it for us too. we can put a song up there, but we can't get ahold of any promoters on there, none get ahold of us. all we get is weird euros asking us for lyrics to the record or weird myspace celebrity nerds trying to add us.

I do agree it's dead, but I do still enjoy when bands throw up songs and updated tour entries

Facebook won't be able to do a better streaming player that can overtake myspace I don't think. But until the next big social media site comes along I think myspace is it for now

if a band messages me on myspace about shows i would still prob do one or forward them to a promoter.
doesn't happen however. ha
