Surprisingly good, actually. At least I was surprised when I went in there.

They have Jet City too, if ya don't know, look it up. Created by Mike Soldano, you can get a Jet City amp that sounds pretty much exactly like an Avenger for about 1/3 of the price. They also make single channel 20 watt amps, which are pretty gnarly.

edit: When I went in there to buy a patch chord, strap, some picks, the guitar selection seemed pretty poor, but yeah, they carry some cool amp brands that L&M doesn't
I play bass. I play guitar. I do both poorly. What's up.

all I know about larson music is that they were my go-to bros when I wanted a new saxophone mouthpiece six years ago.

Someone has to. Don't let the 4 tom/marching snare set up die in BC.

Dude, I wholly recommend acrylic (clear) drums. I have a running joke (aka a method to annoy) with Ryan to get an acrylic kit to be like Bill Stevenson in Black Flag.
We recorded on Sunday and we used the acrylic Ludwig kit the studio had and it sounded AWESOME. Such a killer kick drum sound.

If you can find yourself a set of Ludwig Vistalite drums for cheap get them.

This conversation happened the other day regarding my impending project that should get finished before the end of 2010 (only 7 months in so far! hah...):

Hey Andrew,

My Les Paul really needs new a refret and some love. I've been beating it hard for the past three years and it's definitely got some problems. I've been putting it off for so long because of finances. I'm okay at setups, and I have all of the tools I need to do almost everything on a guitar - but I just don't trust me signing myself up for a crash course on refretting a ~$4000 vintage guitar that happens to be mine, and my main player. I've got an Earvana nut that's been waiting to be installed for like two years now too. It should be a dream machine when done. Anyone in town you can really recommend to do me right?

there is luthier in town by the name of David Pellow.. he has worked on my guitar before and i was very happy. Also i've heard people talk about Sonny Black.. he has a website and is a luthier as well. i'm sure either could handle a re-fret job.
