Danikil Depression-uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh...HUH. Well...hmm...you know what, there is literally no way I can possibly say anything good about this band, so I'm gonna leave it be.
Compound Terror-great set. I dig CSTL on noise, and will always love Jamies vocals.
Burning Ghats-HOLY. SHIT. Summer of 2000, all over again. Loved this band, would see again.
Archspire-Someone who actually likes tech-death should review these guys as I really, really, REALLY don't like tech-death so am obviously really biased. That being said, these gentleman are very good at playing their instruments.
Hope that helps.

Yeah, I was working door and we had 137 pay. Scott lost a little money, but nothing particularly huge and he seemed pretty content with how the show went. Kids were super well behaved and the VEC security were once again rad as hell. Best part of the night for me were the two under-17 year old girls who got flat out TRASHED and made complete asses of themselves. I can't even describe it. End of the night, Archspire is playing and I'm watching the door when they tried to get back in. Literally had to lean on each other to make it up the stairs. Security wouldn't let them in and told them to go home. So this INCREDIBLY TINY girl tries to push past them. Most ineffectual thing I've ever seen. I was flat out laughing at them the entire time. Eventually they gave up and staggered back down the stairs. I dubbed them the Human Centipede because the entire time they were in the venue one would stand directly behind the other and walk around that way.
