I like dangers, hardcore should not be stagnate and I understand music progresses and changes. But bands shouldn't be dicks about it and force their music to come off as profound.

Music shouldn't be stagnant, however, nowadays there's a lot of wieners who ldon't know much about hardcore but like certain offshoots of hardcore, which I think is really awkward. To throw a couple bands out there: Uranus and Portraits of Past were hardcore kids. They knew about and respected a certain canon that informed their music, hence it was hardcore, it wasn't weak artsy shit that doesn't rage.

I don't really have anything against Touche Amore, I just don't like them.

Also, Verse aren't interesting, they're amazingcore. Big difference.

EDIT: FORGET WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO THINK! SOME PEOPLES ATTITUDES STINK!

ITT: People have opinions about music. World continues to spin.

ALSO, to add my own personal flavour: I love Dangers, am uninformed on Touche Amore (have listened, but not enough to form a solid opinion), have been bored as hell by Verse, and am completely confused at the ridiculous modifiers people are putting on hardcore nowadays. "interesting" hardcore? Amazingcore? Fuck I'm getting old.

Touche Amore truely is a victim of their own hype. Its not my thing but they arent terrible, but not really anything special so the buzz gets flipped on them

PS swingers might be the worst movie ever made.

I seem to remember reading a Scene Point Blank review of a band that referenced that name, now that I think about it. I think I passed it off as SPB being SPB.
