108 are so good live. Besides lyrically they didn't say much between songs. it was just tight as fuck.

Figure Four were sweet live. awkward when you know the lyrics but they will never play a show again as members of the band aren't christan anymore. Andrew said in an interview with tyler back in 07 that he doesn't believe any of the things he wrote pretty much.

Yeah i can't back bands that are pushing the agenda of a larger church/entity.

Yeah, I've heard 108 are mind-blowing live, I just can't wash the fact that they were basically started as a proselytizing project by the Hare Krishna movement. If I won't support The Devil Wears Prada, I'm sure as fuck not going to support them (although musically those two bands are miiiiiiiiles apart).

Christ has no place in hardcore or punk. I am sorry but it is simply true. Hardcore bands singing about being christian is like crust punks singing about getting sweet deals at walmart.

Anybody who is gonna call me out for liking shelter and 108: I do not respect the Krishna religion. It shouldn't be in hardcore. It is though, because of how it fits in a lot with the ideas (straight edge, vegi, anti-materialistic etc.).

Actually, in a weird way yes I can. I in no way support their belief system, nor do I condone it. I in fact, condemn it. But I find that I can at least respect peoples right to be ignorant fuckwads when they're honest about it. I just don't respect the belief itself.
