It has to be SEPULTURA. Anything else is terrible.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

Re: Recommend blackmetal.
Walknut's "Graveforests and their shadows" is a really good atmospheric black metal album, but the members have previously been in NS bands which sucks.

The new Inquisition RULES! Checked out that Warloghe album, it was good, but I'm fussy about production values.

Re: Recommend blackmetal.
Bringing this thread back to life.
Fell Voices are indeed fucking wicked, their first LP is just flawless.
Ash Borer did a split with them, which is insanely good, also look up their full-length which is great as well.
Good to see that Walknut was mentioned.
Aside from the obvious ones, check these bands out.
Panopticon
Austere
Nyktalgia
Coldworld (The German one)
Volahn
Woods of Desolation
Make A Change... Kill Yourself
Angantyr
Mutiilation
Vlad Tepes

Re: Recommend blackmetal.
Yeah, new Panopticon is going to kill. Pretty fucking stoked for that, as well as his bluegrass album due early next year.
New Leviathan album should be pretty rad as well.
Also, more great BM that everybody should check out.
Zuriaake
Endstille
Funeral Mist
Wilds Forlorn
Totalselfhatred
Evilfeast
Weakling
Antaeus
Katharsis
Leech
Alda
obviously Skagos (although I'm pretty sure everybody here knows them)
and Gris' album Il Etait Une Foret is absurdly good.
Also, LUROR. Their first LP is one of the best BM records ever IMO.
