I noticed that some dude has a picture on his forum profile of BURZUM (i dont know if he knows what that dude stands for but here are the references to look it up). We all got to keep an eye on our scend to make sure none of this shit pops up.

Boyd Rice/NON, Blood Axis: Both flirt with "fascist" imagery, but not at all NS.

Vaginal Jesus: total troll band made up of Seth Putnam and other drunk/drugged out wieners. Couldn't hold a steady job let alone stay true to any puritanical racial dogmas.

Varg from Burzum is the biggest flip-flopper about that stuff. Don't think that guy is mentally stable enough to be considered anything but a bedroom black metal virgin's man-crush, let alone a big NS contender.

Justin from Three Inches of Blood has a good story about meeting the dudes in Spear of Longinus...kimonos and LSD...

Behemoth aren't for sure, unless it's all of a sudden a good thing in NS circles to have two guys shower together...

I mean, a lot of those bands probably do play WP music, but as other people have pointed they've also included bands that don't. That's a very serious allegation to make, one that probably deserve's a better vetting process. I'm surprised Joy Division wasn't mentioned.

also I like burzum. sometimes a band's political slant is what gets me into them, but burzum just straight up have some fun jamz and that's all I get out of them.

Interesting list for sure. SO, lemme break down how I view dis:

1. Burzum is shitty music. Varg writes some interesting riffs sometimes, but otherwise I'm bored within minutes. Varg himself is an ass, a racist (or at the very least someone who is willing to use racism as a platform for his truly insane ideals) and generally someone not worth talking to. His music has nothing to do with any of that, though, so fuck it let people listen to him. There are actual, real NS bands out there that need to be taken care of. Fuck, Wolf and Danni listen to Burzum, and they're probably the most PC people I know.

2. I love Death In June. Again, Boyd Rice is an ass, and I generally find his fascination with fascism disgusting. His music is fantastic, though, and his open homosexuality, combined with the fact that he has worked with Israeli artists, makes me question whether or not his fascist iconography is just that: iconography, and nothing more. I wouldn't be surprised to find out he's a racist, but again I haven't found any evidence of him promoting racist concepts in his music, so I let it go (for now. Boyd Rice is someone I keep my eye on, to be honest. I really don't know where that guy is coming from).

3. I am J.ewish (period to avoid word filter), my grandfather was a holocaust survivor. My mother was the lay leader (about one step down from a Rabbi) for the islands reform J.ewish synagogue for ten years. I was Bar Mitzvahed at 13. The ADL are a pack of fucking liars and political hacks who are more interested in keeping power for themselves and their followers than they actually care about the J.ewish people. I would take anything they say with a MASSIVE grain of salt. They're also fully in the pocket of the Israel Lobby, and honestly if you want some out and out fascism just go check out the Israeli government right now.

4. I try and separate the artist from the art. HP Lovecraft is one of my favorite authors. He was also an out and out racist. Like, literally thought black people were a mongrel race. The man had disgusting, disgusting personal politics...but they were just that, personal. He kept them to himself, and they didn't ever really come out in his writing (although in his short story "The Rats in the Walls", he named a main characters black cat "N----- Man", which made cough up the coffee I was drinking at the time), and he never used his art as a platform to push his views on anyone. As long as they keep it to themselves, they can believe whatever they want. The minute they start trying to sway public opinion with their art, I will be there fighting it tooth and nail.

5. Fuck Nazis.

almost agree with everything you say. Where i disagree or cant understand, is people who listen to projects with sketchy people in them, even if the project isint WP. If some members are or a flirting with the idea. I cannot even come to grasp with listening to there group. A nazis a nazi. No use to having them in and or around our scene. i believe we must expulse people that believe in ideologies that oppress us. Our oppressors are not welcome in our scene.
