dear sweet fucking god is that shirt ugly.
there wouldn't be enough hair in a motley crue arena tour circa 1984 to cover up that monstrosity.
(currently wearing a white THROWDOWN shirt, 1999 vintage that i thought was lost and haven't worn in years. wudup?)

things I know about white chapel: they have a hideous shirt.
as far as my favourites I really want a gin blossoms shirt from the shut up and smoke tour. as for shirts I own it really couldnt narrow down to a favourite shirt. trheir is a time and a place for every shirt. although I will admit that knowing Iown a tie dye void shirt helps me sleep at night

pretty partial towards my shitty crusty Pig Destroyer hoodie with a billion decaying patches on it that i've had forever. as far as straight up band shirts i always gain tremendous satisfaction out of wearing this one:

Some of my favourite shirts
ALL lion of judah shirts i have loved

The FRONT of this one. I am not into the back design......so much so i am not going to post it

CFUV shirt here

Sucker for Bannon

I found this shirt hilarious so ordered it online before even listening to the band

Great Raein shirt

MLIW

This Circles Shirt. Nice simple design

this shirt i have on green

I guess also my ON - Vital Time shirt.
Sucks most of my favourite shirts i own are a bit too small now or some were to small when i got them. like MLIW, Raein, etc damn smaller mediums than most other mediums.

Re: fave band shirt?
I love Limp Wrist but I just can't get down with this shirt. I kinda feel like that statement counter-productive in combating people like Fred Phelps, it kinda just affirms they're idea's about gay people (not that I think that's what it is saying, but that how they would read it). I don't have a problem with gay people saying they like god or the idea of god obviously, but I just don't like it's effective because in the eyes of a fundamentalist Christian that statement is like saying "Fags like morality", which I agree is completely ridiculous, but I have known enough fundies to know how they think. Part of why I don't really like that shirt is also because it doesn't accurately represent me, as well as a lot of others queer people. I mean, I get that it's not meant to be a tool of combating social injustice or anything and they just made it to cleaver, but personally I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing that shirt. Wow, I kinda just went on a tangent hahaha....sorry.evan wrote:

When ever I see that shirt I just think "What about someone who is gay and religious?"

Re: fave band shirt?

I used to love my Leper "Resist the SPP" shirt until the SPP was shut down...FUCK!
Now my favorite band T Shirt has got to be this Calgary band called Lint (they were obsessed with Slint).
And I always loved the Fags like God shirt! I've considered ordering it before. Christian organizations and politicians are the most visible threat to gay legal rights and for the most part church communities are still hostile to gays. So Christianity has come to be synonymous with the queer bashing right. Until reasonable Christians work to change this, "Fags like God" is appropriate in my mind.

Re: fave band shirt?
Not to derail the thread or anything, but isn't that kind of similar reasoning to when right wingers and racists go on about how it's up to moderate Muslims to prove they aren't all terrorists? From my own experience (and I say this as a very staunch atheist) there are a lot of reasonable Christians working to change this, but because they aren't running around picketing funerals, slurring identifiable groups in the media, and generally carrying on like assholes they don't get noticed. I don't know if they're a quiet majority or simply the minority of Christians, but I also don't think it's safe to apply single personality traits and political views to broad groups of people. I would agree however, that the right wing evangelicals who promote this kind of nonsense have dangerous amount of power. Either way though, that shirt rules.kay wrote: Until reasonable Christians work to change this, "Fags like God" is appropriate in my mind.
