What about starting our show earlier and seeing if the other show will start a bit later? We work that day, it can't be helped that we aren't able to get there earlier.

Is there so few kids in Duncan that it can't support two shows the same night? I wonder too if the kids into the other show would care about our show, plus the other show being $15 at the door, will kids be able to afford to go to both?

I can't really make any prediction, to my knowledge there's never really been a DIY punk show in Duncan so I have no idea what the turn out will be like. The only music scene that is around here are metal bands that I wouldn't really describe as DIY.

I guess I could talk to the promoter of the other show about starting later. But anyway I'm sure it will be fun either way.

We'll just stick to the regular time then.

Well, someone has to book and play the first one to get the ball rolling on Duncan having a DIY punk scene. Damages/Watcher/Jelly Boyz/The Find/Evan will try our luck and hope for the best. :)

Try to promote it as much as you can and see if you can get some people interested in it.

yeah that other show that is going on in Duncan that night i wouldn't say is really worth going to at all. cause its the perfect trend, the narwhalz which are like a marianas trench wanna be band, and disaster's edge and they're more like a hard rock band. but $15 at the door and its a small SIT DOWN venue. gonna say this is show here and the guide hall is the best show to happen to duncan in a long while

Why don't you give me the ticket and I'll go to it and you play bass for Damages that night? ;)

facebook event for the victoria show. deetz:

Image

DAMAGES (Vancouver) will be playing and bringing their brand new 7" split with Book of Caverns.

They're joined by VICTIMS CHOICE who might be breaking up (who knows when it comes to bands that Mike is in??)

Also new locals WATCHER featuring members of Hierophant, No Eulogy, White Ribs, Mitochondrion, Verisimilitude, Thrashmadonna, Drop Off, and the Don Wright Symphonic Winds.

This ALL AGES HARDCORE SHOW will be a $5-10 sliding scale to cover DAMAGES' ferry, gas, and vegan breakfast. This will be Tyler's last show as part of the Troyler so let's make it a good one.

SHOW @ 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM. No drugs or scumbags. Respect the house and the community. This is not a house party. Take off your shoes, be quiet outside.
