few people seem into it already. its pretty fun im enjoying single player already.

some tips if you havent played it before
always upgrade your cityhalls/castles to capitals first when builing your town. no exceptions, it produces gold, you need that shit!

always choose experience over gold when you get treasure chests. your town produces gold anyway, make your hero strong bro

I am not too into strategy games beyond civilization, xcom, dune 2, and a few other examples. but this sounds fun and I'm in. I'll be a total noob.

it seems like an older IP multiplayer thing. so someone hosts, and the others type in their IP address to connect. should work

Man! I used to love these games. The single player was too hard but I definitely remember also playing hot seat multiplayer and having to leave the room when it wasn't my turn. I'd love to play this again but I don't have the time currently.
