you have one of the worst tastes in music I have ever seen. So anything you say is void

Re: the Fest 10
I think The Fest would be hella fun, but unless there are a lot of bands on any fest you want to see I find the fests that operate on the "more is better" m.o. fall short because you end up seeing short sets from the bands you do want to see and are stuck watching a lot of bands you don't want to see.

there is prob 50 bands on that list that intrigue me. There would prob be more, but I haven't heard of every band on the Fest

agreed.Andrew wrote:I think The Fest would be hella fun, but unless there are a lot of bands on any fest you want to see I find the fests that operate on the "more is better" m.o. fall short because you end up seeing short sets from the bands you do want to see and are stuck watching a lot of bands you don't want to see.
however, I'd LOVE to see 1994!, Algernon Cadwallader, Ampere, Asshole Parade, CTTS, Punch, Pygmy Lush, The Catalyst...etc.... and a lot of the no-names look really cool to check out. seems to be a lot of musical diversity. I should start going to fests outside of NWHC because I am really getting sick of the bands dominating the northwest.

Re: the Fest 10
I maintain that there's no good or bad taste. so what if a dude likes goregrind or deathcore and you can't stand it? people think I'm being ironic when I listen to ke$ha but I really just enjoy her jamz. if everyone's taste matched the popular opinions of hardcore boards, how boring would that be? I'd rather someone stick their neck out for some music I can't stand than just adjust to fit what they read on the internet.

how much are the tickets. because the fact i said if it was CLOSER id go has to do with the cost of travel.Human-Demise wrote:if this fest were much closer I'd go just for magrudergrind.

75 bones a tix(for 3 days). For a fest line up that is better than any of the fest line ups I've seen all year x a thousand. W/e if you're going hangout with Warren/Nick and I

Re: the Fest 10
About half those bands I would kill to see (HOLY MOUNTAIN?!?), but the other half are bands I either don't know or actively despise. So I think I'll just watch videos of it on youtube while crying in my room. You know, normal Friday night stuff.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

Re: the Fest 10
28 bands at last count of how many i actively wanted to see.
Every year the Fest has a nice list. It also the experience since there are the surprise shows inbetween and what not. 3 day party pretty much..
