gotta say, that was a really well done "fest"
no troubles, 6-11pm days. great bands (not a bad set by any band)
glad they broke even.

i wish there were more covers though. the Damages Joy Division one was neat though, sounded cool even though im not a JD fan

I'm going to say the driving was worth it, though it wouldn't have been unless everyone was so hilarious and fun during the trip. if I were to redo it to save money, a fuel-efficient car would have saved us a TON of gas money. but hey, it all worked out. we loved it.

my favourite sets were slowhands, monkey, and possibly coalspur. no idea why they were playing so early on day 2, all of them were incredible. bummed still that I missed todos. and yeah, white ribs killed it like I've never seen before.

and yeah, the fest was really well-organized. I think it was because there were only 6-8 bands per day, all with a tertiary relation music-wise but all sounding very different. that and everyone had the best attitude.

Day three I saw every single band because I wasn't haggard/tired. I had no idea that Edmonton had so many awesome bands in it's claws.

I can't speak for everyone but I bet that we could have occasional trips to play like vancouver and stuff over the next while. but I would love to actually tour next summer. I don't want to speak too soon. but then again, somehow all these wild things keep happening. we might do a split with one of the bands we played with in edmonton!

edmonton was filled with the most goodlooking scene of kids ive ever seen. everyone was handsome or a babe. weird fucking shit.

also no one partied. they all had glasses and nice tshirts.

Victoria is different from any other community I've been in contact with. It's probably not that it's weird, it's just that it's far different than what you're used to.
