I only registered to say this. The only real bummer about this whole fest is Pat cannot attend this fest as he is out saving the world. Also I find it weird that Set Foot is headlining Saturday night. Jordan, I would probably lol if I ever saw a Seventh Dagger band. Forget internet drama, be stoked with new songs from Set Foot!

this fest was fun! let's talk about stuff!

-the venue was super cool! perfect size for the fest, I think. probably my favourite, out of almost all the fest venues of the past. sounded pretty good in the room. even bands that just used vocals and didn't have any mics on the drums/cabs sounded good. I think this is largely due to the carpet on the floor and the amount of people absorbing the "mud". it was really conveniently located too, so it wasn't hard to take a trip to the corner store or go for a walk or whatever without worrying about missing too much.
-I discovered some awesome new bands (grow were awesome! and so were griever!) and saw some old favs (ie. maus and blackwater)
-I wish loma prieta could have played! haha.
-I still think it dragged on a bit and there were a ton of bands but everyone still seemed to have a good time.
-I can't believe how many of my old t-shirts sold. thanks for taking those off my hands. tylerp shirt distro, 2 years and running!
-the volunteers and fest team were top notch!
-if anyone missed out buying a Watcher 7", talk to Andrew (if you live in Van) or hold on cause we'll have more in about a week (if you live in Vic)

I am looking forward to next year.

oh yeah, I accidentally left a Planet Waves patch cable behind I think. I don't know the size, medium-longish? did anyone happen to find one? it sucks because they're expensive, I once owned four (and have the boxes/receipts to prove it!) but I'm down to two now, though I think one is at the Red Door and the other got left at the Fest. both ends are straight, should look like this:
