I like a lot of bands inspired by Fugazi, and I like a lot of the pre Fugazi bands their members were in, but the only reaction Fugazi has ever been able to elicit from are shrugs. To their credit though, their a nice middle ground for when punks and normals need to agree on what music to listen to.

It's cool, I don't actually care what other people like. If you saw Fugazi in Vic it was a pretty sedate show, but one of the greatest shows I ever went to was a Fugazi show on the east coast.
Fugazi are big for me, but so are a lot of other bands that lots of people aren't into.

I have this infallible problem of at first not caring much for bands then months to years later actually giving a fuck about them. (Leeway, No Warning, Rise and Fall, Xibalba, Cro-Mags, Black Flag, etc didn't care for much and in some cases further listening or seeing them live changed that)

But besides all the more "mainstream" picks above which generally are true for me here is what I have come up with:
