Tell me how The Sound of My Voice is! Really have been wanting to watch that.
I don't watch many films like this so just going to put down these cause I either own them or want to see them:
Funny Games
Original Straw Dogs
antichrist
Rosemary's Baby
Repulsion
House
Jigoku
Peeping Tom
Sisters

Re: best/scariest horror/thriller movies
This is more of "great movies that come to mind" list than a best of list. . .
Thriller:
The Machinist
13 Tzameti
The Pusher
The Bad Lieutenant (the Abel Ferrara one)
Vice Squad
7even
Intacto
Horror:
Night Of The Hunter (probably in my top 10 films of all time list)
Maniac
The Cremator
Ju-On
The Shining
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the Toby Hooper one)
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
Halloween (the Carpenter one)
Carnival of Souls
Dead Ringers (could be horror or thriller)
Cheers

Re: best/scariest horror/thriller movies
Don't get you here . . . both of these ("Bad Taste" especially) are pretty much comedies. "Dead Alive" is along the lines of "Evil Dead II", yes there is lots of gore but it's done for laughs as opposed to scares. Both are classics though.Human-Demise wrote:uh where as stuff thats just disturbing

"Did you have to eat some chuck?"
=)
If you are doing the triple bill, throw "Meet The Feebles" in there.
Cheers

Not too much of a horror fan (I REALLY can't stand sudden pop-outs, do not like them!!!!), BUT
Not only are
The Shinning
