My cousin told me that Dane Cook was funny

I didn't know how to respond. I just kind of looked at her and flipped my grilled cheese sandwich over. The phrase "Dane Cook...funny..." kept echoing in my head over and over, as I stared into the burnt side of the bread as if it was the deepest recesses of the ocean. My words failed me as the butter on the pan sizzled, taking over the consuming silence that filled the room.

I gather this is a recollection from somewhere around 2003-2005, as now there is no one daft enough to enjoy Dane Cook. Back then there were a few who could not see just how god awful that man's comedy is.

Her justification in thinking he was funny was that he published this "joke" on his facebook:

If a girl exits my home early morning wearing the same clothes she came over in I call it the Walk of Fame. Comes w/ a signed headshot.

Once in the 05 era myself and Tyler went to a highschool friend's birthday party. At one point everyone was in the living room drunkenly listening to a cd of Dane Cook's live act. It was truly horrendous to be in that room. We escaped with some people on a trip to McDonalds.
