Definately agree on Battery and GI, so good.....also, I think Ignition is an incredibly underrated/unknown band. It's Alec Mackaye who sang in the faith's next band, with a lot of the same members. One of the 'revolution summer' bands that Iv'e never heard anyone mention, I got lucky and found their out of print discography a few years back, definately one of the best dischord bands.
I'm not sure if Rain counts as underated. Forgotten maybe, but I've never met someone who had heard them who didn't love them. Maybe it's because people who end up going to the effort of hearing forgotten Revolution Summer band are predisposed to like them.
Also, the band Revolution Summer from Italy is pretty good and the record Revolution Summer by Reversal of Man is excellent as well.

I dunno, to me if Rain wasn't underrated more people would know of them by default.
I am predisposed to liking Revolution Summer bands, that does apply to me.

They have a sound that seems to fall between the cracks, too heavy for indie kids, too poppy for metal kids, but I think they're pretty cool.
I dunno. This sounds like an updated version of 1998's sound. I'm not sure if I like it. It's also reminiscent of Red Roses for a Blue Lady, and Nick said it best when he pointed out that that sound can't really be reproduced now a days without sounding a bit corny.
or maybe I'm just cynical.

Then you'll go from being lonely to wishing that everybody would just fuck off because their a bunch of fucking buzzkills going on about how 'you've got a problem" and they "just want to be their to help you". You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

No way man Cold Craving is fucking tight. Hierophant was supposed to bring them here and rage the stage with them but we're fuck ups

This shit is bogus.
Backstabbers, (St)inc. was pitiful at Dudefest '08 and really bummed me the fuck out, but apparently Trap Them a couple of weeks ago was just awful and probably much worse as well. Sucks, since I've been down with that band since before they were really even a real band, and have seen them so many times. Too bad one of my favourite current hardcore bands is now another heavy hardcore band that's transformed into a full on metal band, attitude and all.
Battery was my spring playlist for grade 12 in 2004. Made the high school graduation period way easier to stomach.
