ps. this is a bummer.
what about if it was at troyler house: still same price to get in, went to VIHC society, and keith still had a birthday? I'm sure the same people that wanted to go would still go and it'd be fun as hell + you wouldn't have to pay $200 for sound/door to logans...

how about not at my house......
just saying...
this show needs to be bar show... imo
just like the pop punk cover night should prob happen at a venue.
my house is cool and all....
yeah my house rules actually.

i'm not trying to say we force a show on you guys...
i'm just saying it could be a whole lot cooler seeing black flag at an all ages, no bar venue... Bars are not fun IMO.

Re: VIHC SOCIETY PRESENTS: A VIHC FEST FUNDRAISER
i mostly saw a bar show with black flag covers being a bigger appeal for the older punks or people that have been around for years or just casually listen to black flag. there are a ton that exist in this town and others. a bar show would appeal way mroe to them.KYLESTYLE wrote:i'm not trying to say we force a show on you guys...

Re: VIHC SOCIETY PRESENTS: A VIHC FEST FUNDRAISER
Honestly...none of the older people in Victoria go out to see anything other than their friends bands or reformed, dinosaur punk bands. Rebook the show for April 1st at Logans...and just bill it as Black Flag, The Misfits and GB...don't put the actual bands on the poster. Se what kinda turnout you get...
Re: VIHC SOCIETY PRESENTS: A VIHC FEST FUNDRAISER
i agree about the poster. if you want turnout, put the covered band names, rather than the actual band names in large.

that is what we were originally going to doKYLESTYLE wrote:i agree about the poster. if you want turnout, put the covered band names, rather than the actual band names in large.
then no one made a poster
then tyler akis made a poster but didn't want to put the band names so just worked the band logos into the real bands names

i like the poster, just saying if you want maximum turn out, market likewise... this show must happen.dalamar501 wrote:that is what we were originally going to doKYLESTYLE wrote:i agree about the poster. if you want turnout, put the covered band names, rather than the actual band names in large.

is this still in planning?
also, i heard a pop-punk subsidiary all-ages show was to happen?
i will help book these if that is needed (i can be helpful).
